About Coach Rob

Military and Law Enforcement Service

Robert’s foundation was built in the crucible of public service and combat leadership.  In 2005, he served as a Lieutennant in the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Leading troops in a combat zone instilled in him a deep understanding of tactical precision, crisis management, and the heavy responsibility of command.  Coach Rob dedicated over 25 years to law enforcement, acting as a Police Sergeant. His tenure on the force provided him with a front-row seat to the human condition, honing his ability to de-escalate conflict and lead under extreme pressure.  Recognizing that true strength requires mental and emotional fortitude, Robert pivoted toward the behavioral sciences to better serve his community and fellow veterans. He holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Connecticut.  This clinical background allows him to bridge the gap between "toughness" and "wellness," providing him with the tools to address trauma, stress, and behavioral health with professional authority.  Robert does not just coach from a place of theory, he leads by example. He is a graduate of the Man of War Crucible, widely recognized as one of the most demanding rites of passage for men in the modern era.  He believes that true leadership isn't about giving orders, it's about having the empathy to understand the struggle and the discipline to overcome it.  This intensive experience stripped away the ego and tested his physical and mental limits, solidifying his mission to help men reclaim their purpose, power, and presence.
